We have been wanting to get the boys bunk beds for a while and we finally decided to accomplish the task in one evening. One very long evening. The journey started at about 3:30 with dropping the kids off at Nana's. We went and bought mattresses. Went and got the bed. Put it all together, took it apart, put it together again, took it apart, put it together again, and picking up the kids. (Garrett and Joe did the putting together and taking apart. I just kept the food and drinks coming.) Finally, at the early hour of 10:30, the kids hit the sack, or should I say the floor. Yes, Austin and Nolan both fell out of their bed. Welp, guess we got that out of the way. Nolan is not liking the change much. Austin loves his new bed and won't sleep. And Avery is jealous that she is not the center of attention. Shall I say, "princess." Here I am trying to get them to go to sleep once again. Thought I would drop a quick note in between screams, getting out of bed, and begging for another drink. We will miss this right? J/K I am loving every minute of being a mom!
