Nolan Can Pedal!

Nolan is now officially a bike rider. He can pedal a tricycle. He sits in front of me and goes in circles which is nice. One less child to keep track of. Avery and Austin will disappear down the street stopping to visit neighbors. The other picture is Nolan's war wounds. He thinks it's funny to steal the girls' toys at daycare and run for his life. Lets just say both girls (McKenna and Gabby) got him in the same week. I say he deserved it.

Our First Dance Recital!

Avery and Austin just had their first dance recital and these are the first pictures I have taken of them in their dance outfits. What a bad mom I am. The both have been in dance for a few months. Avery in Princess Ballet and Austin in Hip Hop. They had fun and they got to dance on a big stage for their recital. Avery was asked to dance with the age group right above hers and Austin is going to move on to something a little more competitive. Look for the videos!

Hooked on Fishing!

We all didn't sleep well Friday night and the only two die hard fishers that made it to "Hooked on Fishing" was Austin and Daddy. They were out the door by 7a.m. Good job Daddy. What a great start to a weekend for Daddy and his boy. Austin caught two fish!

Weekend Fun!

Sorry, no pictures for the weekend. Not in the mood to take some, but I just wanted to put it in writing that we had a fun and busy weekend. Friday night, was my birthday, so we went to Grammy's and swam. Then, we went to dinner at the Boss. I was so wanting a good hamburger for so long. Finally. It was a great birthday present! Thanks Dad and Mom! So we hung out at Grammy's and got home late.

Saturday, we went to the Lindke's to hang out just for the fun of it. We all had a blast. Just to be able to sit and talk with adults is fun for me. We had a great dinner with good hotdogs and good macaronie salad. Thanks Jenny and Daryl. The kids had a blast playing with Elizabeth and Tanner. Too bad the night ended with Tanner going to the hospital with a broken wrist. Now everything is, "Be careful, or you will end up at the hospital like Tanner." Anyways, the kids were dying to get together again, as well as the parents. Oh, and Saturday night, we got home late.

Sunday night we went to the Brewers and played Wii and ladder golf. I sucked at ladder golf. Sorry Garrett. The food was great and the kids again had a great time playing with their friends. And again, we got home late. The kids have never slept in so long. Record, 9:00 a.m. This morning was not pleasant as we all had to get up early.

"The Great Bambino"

I have to put this in here. It was a couple of weeks ago that I thought I would introduce the kids to a new movie. We have been watching a lot of the same movies over and over and I refuse to pay $20 or more on a new movie. So we had "Sandlot" sitting in our cupboard. So I figured what the heck. We'll watch it and I will explain what is going on to them the first time and see if they like it. (They always have to have the movie narrated to them the first time.) Little did I know they would fall in love with "The Sandlot". I swear they have watched this movie 100 times. Avery knows every word, which hasn't been such a good thing. The other day we were sitting in the living room and she yells out, "Oh crap!" Garrett and I were like, what the heck. She said, "I was just saying what they say on the "Beast movie." That's what they call it, "The Beast Movie." It is so cute though. She can recite almost perfectly the part about the smores. Even Nolan loves the "Beast Movie". Last night I was cooking dinner and Nolan is looking at a cracker box yelling, "The Great Bambino, The Great Bambino." I was thinking, what the heck is he yelling about. Then Austin gets up there and they're both yelling. Well, the picture that you see up top was on the back of the cracker box. Austin just cracks up when he watches the movie. He loves the part when they are trying to get the ball back and the Beast keeps breaking their sticks and contraptions. He has the cutest little laugh. Well, like mother like children. Sandlot is one of my favorite movies too. My favorite part, "Plaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy Baaaaaaaallllll!" The kids love that part too. LOL We rewind it just hear that part over and over!

9 MORE DAYS!!

Yes, that's 9 more days of work until summer vacation! I can't wait. 9 more days of snotty high school kids. 9 more days disciplining. 9 more days of getting up at 5 in the morning. 9 more days of grading. 9 more days of asking kids to be quiet and sit down. I CAN'T WAIT. 9 more days until I get to spend full days with my kids without having to worry about getting the house clean and shopping done. 9 more days intil we can stay in our jammies and watch morning cartoons. 9 more days until we can spend the day in grammy's pool. In 9 more days, the fun begins. I CAN'T WAIT.

Tomorrow is my birthday and I'm kind of bummed because Garrett is going to be gone all day for a track meet. Sucky. My dad said he would take me out to dinner though. It works out good that we have a three day weekend. Still time to celebrate. Things have been good and busy at the Weagant house with dance, work, school events, softball, and birthday parties. I have never been to so many birthday parties. The kids love it though and I'm glad that they have so many friends.

Wild Weekend

Two weekends ago we thought we would get crazy and take a very short, last minute trip to Disneyland. So we dropped everything and left Friday night for a long drive. All I can say is, thank goodness for Mountain Dew. Garrett drove about 45 minutes and I drove the rest. We got there at about 5:30am, ate breakfast, parked, and took pictures while we waited to get in the park at 8:00. It was so nice. Hardly anyone was there in the morning and we were able to ride anything we wanted without waiting in a long annoying line. The afternoon got a little busy, but not too bad. Then by evening I was done. The plan was to make it through fireworks. No deal. Mom needed to crash. Thank you Maggie and Darren for taking us in last minute. We love you guys. So we went to Maggie's and crashed on her couches and air bed. Sunday moring about 10:00am, we left for home and made it home at about 6:30. What a wild trip. It was so fun just to drop everything and go. Made me feel wild and crazy. The kids did so good. It's so much fun to see them having so much fun. We can't wait to go again. We will never get sick of Disneyland. It's keeping away from there that's the problem.
