Keeping Busy

I have found that in keeping the kids busy, it keeps me sane. The kids find anything fun and amusing. It could be helping with dinner, planting seeds, changing their clothes, blowing bubbles, or rolling their hair in curlers. So here are just a few things the Weagant's have been up to lately. The weather is up and down and we never know when we are going to get to spend some time outside. Being in the house is getting old and the kids are just not tired enough when we put them to bed. I can't wait until summer!

Here we are in the backyard blowing bubbles. It was windy on this day and the bubbles were blowing all over the yard. It was cool to watch.
Mommy's little helpers making enchiladas, the kids favorite dinner. Notice Nolan in the princess dress. Something that we don't do very often, but we give in sometimes because he likes to twirl around. We have successfully convinced Austin that he is too manly to wear a dress-up dress.

This was our evening activity the other night. The bucking bronco. The kids had so much fun getting on Dad and having him knock them off again and again. Quite entertaining.

My little girlie girl loves to have her hair curly, so she convinced me to put Grandma's old curlers in her hair. I did the best I could. Being such a tom boy, I don't know much about these things. Her hair turned out o.k. I told her we could try again much later.

My Baby is Growing Up

Happy Birthday Dear Nolal,
Happy Birthday to you!

"Say Cheese!"

My little All-Star!

Nolan doing what he does Best!

Happy Birthday Nolan!! The terrible two's are here. My sweet little baby is growing up. What am I going to do? No, we are not having another one. We had a great party for Nolan on Saturday at Nana's house. It turned out wonderful. All of our friends and family were there. Sports was our theme. We had everything sports out that we had: basketball hoop, soccer ball net, and Garrett's great invention, cardboard targets for the football throw. We all had a blast and ate lots of junk food. Thank you everyone for a great time and thank you Nana for letting us trash your house and yard.

Avery's Scary Adventure

Before:
After:
Poor Avery went into have her tonsils out on Friday the 13th. Talk about scary. Mommy went to work that day while daddy stayed home and took care of our princess. What a brave little girl she was. She wasn't even scared and all of the nurses loved her for that. That and because she is so cute and adorable! It was a rough first week after that, but she was tough and pulled through like a trooper. I am so proud of her. What a tramatic experience for a four year old. The had to put her down and she woke up scared out her mind. I bet she won't forget that. The before picture we took at 6:00 in the morning. She had to be there at 6:30. You'd never know where she was headed. The after picture was definately a good one. She lived in her PJ's for days. Love you Avery.
