I have to say that my camera has been dead for 2 weeks and do I think to plug it in? NO. Sorry kids. We need pictures. Getting there.
O.K. So the weather is finally cooling down, work has been crazy, but I was kind of keeping up, and then it happened. The sickness sets in. Last year mono, this year anything under the sun. Garrett had flu and pnemonia. He has been in bed for 3 days. Austin, severe sinus infection that turned into staff. Avery, bronchitis. Hasn't stopped caughing for 3 days. Nolan has yet to come down with anything. Me, it doesn't matter what I have, I am the one who keeps things together. So far, so good.
Whats nice about us all being sick is that our busy lives have come to a hault. We have all been at home, in the house, doing nothing since Saturday. Talk about good family time. It was so much fun just hanging out with the kids. I can't say that I didn't go a little bit crazy with the caughing and crying and poor Nolan going crazy with cabin fever. But it was nice. We lounged, we ate, we played, we cleaned, we enjoyed the slow life. Now back to work tomorrow for me, or today I guess. Garrett, Austin and Avery are staying home one more day, and I am going to attempt to get Nolan back to daycare and staying healthy. That's one thing that sucks about being teachers. Our family is exposed to anything and everything. Oh well, we're survivors. I think of these last 4 days as a gift from God. No gymnastics, no soccer practice, no craziness, and only 3 more Saturdays of soccer games.
