Technology Fallout
So I haven't posted anything because my computer at home is not letting me log into my blog. We are planning on getting a new computer in January and I am hoping to get caught up on our blog. As for us, just living life and trying to enjoy the kids as much as we can. Christmas vacation is coming and we are excited about just being home for two weeks. No vacations planned, just being home. Austin has learned to ride a bike and that is all he wants to do. Avery is put out about not being able to ride and tries so hard every time, but she just doesn't have the balance down yet. Nolan is still determined to keep up with his brother and sister and if he can't, he loves to drive them crazy. Well, hopefully we will be able to get going on the technology disaster in the Weagant house and catch up with some of our friends online. Have a wonderful Christmas with family and friends.

Fall Begins, Sickness Sets In
I have to say that my camera has been dead for 2 weeks and do I think to plug it in? NO. Sorry kids. We need pictures. Getting there.
O.K. So the weather is finally cooling down, work has been crazy, but I was kind of keeping up, and then it happened. The sickness sets in. Last year mono, this year anything under the sun. Garrett had flu and pnemonia. He has been in bed for 3 days. Austin, severe sinus infection that turned into staff. Avery, bronchitis. Hasn't stopped caughing for 3 days. Nolan has yet to come down with anything. Me, it doesn't matter what I have, I am the one who keeps things together. So far, so good.
Whats nice about us all being sick is that our busy lives have come to a hault. We have all been at home, in the house, doing nothing since Saturday. Talk about good family time. It was so much fun just hanging out with the kids. I can't say that I didn't go a little bit crazy with the caughing and crying and poor Nolan going crazy with cabin fever. But it was nice. We lounged, we ate, we played, we cleaned, we enjoyed the slow life. Now back to work tomorrow for me, or today I guess. Garrett, Austin and Avery are staying home one more day, and I am going to attempt to get Nolan back to daycare and staying healthy. That's one thing that sucks about being teachers. Our family is exposed to anything and everything. Oh well, we're survivors. I think of these last 4 days as a gift from God. No gymnastics, no soccer practice, no craziness, and only 3 more Saturdays of soccer games.

We Are Way Too Busy
So my excuse for having no pictures to put on here is that we have been way too busy. Work, football, gymnastics, soccer, and ballet take up most of our week. I thought I should at least doment it so that the kids know why I don't have any pictures of them.
So Garrett is coaching the freshmen football team at Oroville High. It is a little bit easier than varsity because they only practice three days a week and have games on Thursdays. Garrett is having back problems again which makes it hard on everyone; especially me. He took a couple of days off of work to go to the doctor. He almost looks like he can walk normal again, but still can do very little. Which leaves me to all of the house work and taking care of the kids. Which wouldn't be too bad if I didn't have this darn cold. (O.k. I'm done complaining, just had to get it out.) I just hope his back gets better. I'm trying to get him to stop coaching. It's hard, I understand to give up sports when they have been a part of your life for so long. I'm still having problems with that one myself.
Austin has gymnastics on Tuesdays for an hour. He loves it. We love his instuctor. She is so positive and energetic, and really good with the kids. He always leaves with tons of stamps all over his body; feet, cheeks, hands. Austin does good with all of the courses they do for the hour. His favorite part is free play where he can play in the balls, on the tramp, or go on the slide. Thursdays, Austin has soccer practice for an hour. His first year of soccer. It was an interesting start, being on an organized team. The first practice was chaotic for sure, but they are all getting better at listening, and his coach is getting better at being prepared. Austin has had three games so far. All on Saturdays. For being the youngest and smallest boy on his team, he does pretty good. He gets a few kicks in during the game. His first game was so exciting for him and a bit overwhelming. He loved that all these people were sitting there watching them play. He kept waving at everybody as he ran by. Usually he would miss the ball going right by him the other way. His friend Ethan is on his team which even makes it funner. Austin is our social bug, so by the end of the game, he has met everyone on the field, including the referee. When he is on the sidelines, he talks the coaches ear off. I have decided that Austin just loves to talk. I am so proud of him for being such a free spirit and loving everyone that comes in his little life. He just enjoys life. Something that not all people can do.
Avery had soccer practice on Wednesdays. Here whole team is full of first time soccer players. They are just having a blast. Girls love to make new friends and do crazy things together. I'm glad that Avery has the opportunity to experience that. She is a natural at playing soccer. Her coach said that she is really good. She scored two goals today in her game. She definately was the star player for the Mavericks. Her team has had three games so far, and they have improved so much. It is fun to watch the beginners just get better and better. Avery is still doing ballet also. Friday is ballet. Dad gets to take her for an hour to dance. She loves her instructor Laural. She gets lots of attention as there are only 3 girls in the dance class right now. We were a little sceptical at first with Avery doing ballet, because she was just so stiff and uncoordinated. She has come a long way. Her dancing is really good. She just flows now. Avery has such a determined attitude, she will be good at anything she tries. I am so proud of her.
Poor Nolan, he just gets dragged around all week, going to gymnastics, soccer practices, ballet, and to top it off, sit though two soccer games. It will be his turn soon enough. I do feel bad that he has to sit though all of that. We keep good company and it gives us time to spend together while we are waiting. He still sucks his thumb and holds my hair. I wonder if he'll ever grow out of that. He is almost potty trained sometimes. We are never home though, so it makes it really hard. Nolan loves football and wearing football clothes. He is, most of the time, really picky about what he wears. Both of my boys are. What is up with that? I am so proud of Nolan and the patience that he has. He is a fighter and a lover, but mostly a lover. He loves his family and always knows when one person is missing. He loves to go crazy and laugh and have fun. My baby is growing up.
Then there is me. (I'll try to be as positive as I can.) Up at 5:15 get ready, get the kids ready, drop the kids off at daycare, go to work, leave work, pick the kids up, go to whatever activity we have that day, go home, make dinner, feed the kids and myself, bathtime, pj's, teeth, book, bed for the kids, clean, exercise if I can, get in a show maybe, and to bed for me at who knows what time. Then I get up and do it again, and again. Wow! Most of the time my head is spinning. Most of the time I feel like I am forgetting to do something or bring something. I read somewhere that this life is a mere blink of an eye compared to what lies ahead. I hope that there right. It said that you shouldn't feel like you're missing out on anything because this life is really nothing. Just get through it the best you can and then you will really start living. It is so hard to have faith, when you really don't know. And do you just feel that way because that is what you have been told all your life. I don't know. I do know that I do love my family. I love them with all of my heart and more. I would do anything for them. I really don't mind all of the sacrifices. What else would I be doing? So they really aren't sacrifices. I love watching my kids grow and learn. They are all so smart and talented. I cry at their recitals, and sometimes at their games, (don't tell), I get excited when they do well at anything, and I love to watch them be happy. There is nothing I love more in the world than to see smiles on their faces. So who cares about what I have to go through. I think that all good moms do. I thank God for my little angels and my partner in crime that gets me through good and bad times. I love them all.

Look Out, The Weagants are Playing Soccer
We got a call from Avery's soccer coach this week, so we are all really excited about soccer starting up. We have been talking about it since May. Austin is the most excited. He just enjoys life in a whole different way. Lets just say that I can't get him to stop talking about soccer this, soccer that, soccer everything. So we went soccer shopping and spend a good hour at Big 5 trying on cleats and shin guards. Nolan spent a good hour trying on all of the baseball helmets and carrying around baseballs. He was surprisingly good. Ever since the shopping trip, the kids have been stomping around the house in their soccer apparal. Austin wants to wear it 24-7. Avery is o.k. with wearing it once and having fun and moving onto dress-up clothes. Nolan is all about wearing Avery's cleats all day, I mean hours, and showing us how fast he can run in them. I don't know how he does it in shoes that are way too big for him. We are still awaiting a phone call from Austin's coach to find out what color his team is. AVery's is gold. I really wish this coach would call. Poor Austin. Here are some fun pictures we took today. They are kind of out of order, but I didn't want to deal with moving them. I ended up just buying a pack of hanes t-shirts for the kids to wear to soccer practice and I had to buy Avery some boy shorts. I have never seen athletic clothes in the girls section. If anybody has, enlighten me. So here Austin and Avery are in their practice outfits. Avery being crazy as usual, and Austin pretending to not know what is going on, as usual. And I had to throw a picture in of my cute little baby boy. He was putting grapes in his cheek and showing me how big his cheek was. Oh, the things these kids do. I love 'em.

Little Surprises!
So these last few weeks of vacation has been full of little surprises. We went to visit some friends the other day and found out that they could swim. So Avery, being like her mother, shows everyone that she can swim too. Avery and Heidi had a blast swimming together. No floating devices needed.
Avery is so head strong when she finds something she wants to do. She will just keep trying until her goal is accomplished. She reminds me so much of me, it is crazy. Except for the girly girl stuff (see picture with crown and ear rings). She tries hard at everything she does, she worries about everything and everyone, and she is determined to get her way. Avery is such a gift to this family. She has such a giving heart and outgoing personality. We love watching her grow everyday. We have decided though, that high school is out of the question. Alternatives unkown.
Anyways, back to what I was saying. So Avery swimming surprised me. She has been off and on, but now it is full on swim chic. Another surprise, Nolan is finally pulling out of the terrible two's phase, I think. He has been so good lately, we are surprised only because I feel like he was saying no to everything. Here's to Nolan and no more no's.
Another surprise. Old friends have been getting in touch with me, it is so cool. Weird too because it seems like I just think about them and then I get a message from them on facebook or something. It is so fun to hear from them and see what they have been up to for the past ___ years. It is cool too that we can jump right back into that friend mode and enjoy each others words and company.
It has been a great summer vacation. Another one down. I can't believe it. Some things to look forward to: Nolan being potty trained, signing up for kindergarten in November, first year of soccer, mommy playing on a CARD basketball team (something I have been wanting to do for quite some time), Disneyland birthday trip, and whatever other excitement comes our way. Yahoo!!!

My Hard Workin' Kids
Of course I didn't think to take a picture, but I wanted to document that Avery is a cleaning fool when she wants to be. Sometimes I get so sick of the house being messy, I announce that today is "cleaning day", so we devote a couple hours to cleaning. AVery, luckily, was in a cleaning mood and jumped right in and helped. She did most of the play room and cleaned both bathrooms, including toilet and floor. What a girl! Thank you princess! Austin started out telling me he was tired. He told me he didn't have any energy to clean. So full of it. Garrett says he's a con artist. I say he is too smart for his own good. He did get to it though and did some of the play room and mopped the kitchen floor. They thought it was to coolest thing to mop. Nolan did the best thing he could do. He stayed out of the way and didn't follow us around making messes where we just cleaned up, like he usually does. When the vaccum came out, Nolan took over. He loves the vaccum. I can hardly get it away from him long enough to vaccum. So we cleaned for a good hour, maybe a little more, and took a break with a intention to clean some more. Didn't happen of course, but Avery said she would get up and do lots of cleaning tomorrow. Yahoo! Actually, I promised the kids swimming tomorrow somewhere. They deserve a fun time at the pool!

Vacation Finale!!!
Well, we had so much fun at Lake Almanor, we had to play one more trip before it was back to work we go. I actually took pictures this time! (That's a big one for me.) And I'm glad I did. It was a great time. Maggie can't believe that we just pack up all the kids and take off. It is hard, but it is so worth it. And I want my kids to have great childhood memories. Even if we didn't go do Disneyland or anywhere fancy. I want them to know what it is like to do things as a family and how awesome it is to be able to enjoy our time together. Pictures: We hit up Big Thunder Mountain Railroad first. Austin's first favorite. Nolan and I sat out for that one, but we did find out that he was tall enough to go on Matterhorn, or as Nolan calls it, the "Monster Ride." Garrett or I have to cover Austin's eyes on Matterhorn the whole time, and if we let him opt out of it, he does. Nolan just says, "I'm done," even if the ride isn't over. Nolan and Dad on Matterhorn. Austin was tall enough to go on The Grizzly, which he loved. We all loved going on the Grizzly and talked about the next time we would go on it all the time. We did get soaked about every time. What was nice was that it was right outside our hotel. Garrett and Austin got hit by a gyser the last time on the Griz and were wet down to the skin, if you know what I mean. All in all, it was a great trip. Nolan especially had a great time. He is understanding and remembering rides. He put in many requests, "I want to go on Small World, I want to go on Pirates, I want to go on Small World, I want to go on Pirates." He went on Pirates the first time a little scared in the dark , but did o.k. Then the second time, he screamed his head off and tried to climb out, then he was fine again and ended the trip with Pirates one last time. He loved Small World and yelled at the top of his lungs when he saw it. He loved the castle being lit up and wanted me to "turn it on" when it wasn't lit up. We saw the Fantasmic show which was awesome and Nolan wanted to know where the characters went when it was over.
To end the trip we went to an Angels game. The kids first baseball game. Garrett was the proud daddy taking his kids to the game. He would do anything for his kids, they are so blessed to have such a good dad. He stayed with Nolan one morning to let him sleep in and he took care of Avery when she got sick the last night at Disneyland. Poor Avery was throwing up and Garrett stayed with her and made he feel like a princess. Anyways, we had such a good time and so many things I want to remember. I will stop for now. Here's to many more fun family times together!!
Some more highlights: Avery, Austin, and I hit Splash Mountain one morning and rode it three times. Once we went around and we got to sit on for another ride without having to get back in line. Austin finally rode with no one holding onto him. Avery got her backpack which she begged for the whole trip because I got one. She carried that thing everywhere with every random toy in there she could think of. Nolan go a Buzz Lightyear toy that he carried around everywhere and Austin got a pirates gun and sword. I actually went on the Rockets and Dumbo which I swore I would never go on, and surprisingly I didn't get sick. Yah Mommy!

Congratulations Wes and Tesha!
Wes (my brother) and Tesha were married yesterday in Gridley. Tesha looked Beautiful and Wes looked handsome all dressed up. Wes never dresses up. It's just weird how things work out. Tesha and I went to school together, kindergarten to 12th grade. We had known each other forever and for Wes to find her, that is just cool! We are glad to have a new addition to our family and that Wes is finally settling down to start his. He has always wanted to have a family of his own. Austin carried the rings down the isle (yes, the actual rings). He did a good job and looked so cute. We are just going to have to start charging for people to have him in their weddings. Avery wore a cute yellow dress and also made herself seen as much as possible. We had a great time dancing and Wes and Tesha were quite entertaining with their Grease dance. Very original. I loved it. It was good to see family and friends again. We never get together enough to enjoy each other's company. Love you Wes and Tesha!
Fun at Lake Almanor
We celebrated the 4th of July at Lake Almanor for a week with Garrett's family. His brother's and their families were there, along with aunts, uncles, and lots of cousins. It was so much fun having family there to do things with. We ate lots of food of course. Dessert every night! The kids loved that. We went to the beach, went for walks, went to the concert in the park, went to movie night (which we left early because the kids were wired on candy and soda), went on Uncle Dan's boat, played in the park. Austin and Avery went on the boat with Hayley and Jessica to see the fireworks the night of the fourth. They had lots of fun! Garrett and I had fun visiting with Lance and Megan that night, while Wyatt and Nolan played together. What a pair. The kids all loved the beach and playing in the sand. Austin and Avery swam out to the dock a couple of times and jumped off of it. Nolan liked the sand and stealing people's toys. We went to Peaceful Point one day and Austin and Nolan had a blast throwing rocks in the water as much as they wanted. Avery spent the whole time collecting little shells which we brought home as souveniers. We watched the parade on the 4th in Chester, and the kids collected gobs of candy. One day we went bowling. One day we rode up to see Uncle Lance's house and spent the day with Megan and Wyatt. To end the trip we went on the boat with Dan, Darcy, Hayley, and Jessica. The kids rode the tube. Austin and Avery loved it. Nolan wanted nothing to do with it. He did want the boat to go fast though, and he didn't like it when the boat stopped. We got some good laughs watching the girls get thrown off the tube, including Darcy. Way to go Darc! When we weren't doing anything, we were enjoying not being home and sitting around. The kids, though, loved playing with their cousins the most, big and small. The big kids played with the little kids and the little kids played with each other and the big kids played with each other. We almost lost Avery only once. So all in all, a great trip. We enjoyed it emmensly. Garrett got drunk and talked about having another kid (no way) because it is fun to have a big family to do things with (3 is big enough). Then we decided that we had so much fun that we better just plan a Disneyland trip before summer comes to an end. 6 days and counting before we leave for L.A. Yes we are crazy. But we do have a lot of fun!

Backfire!
So my plan backfired on me. After our day of keeping the kids busy, I had a headache for 2 days straight. I only made it through 2 half days out of bed and the rest in bed. Sorry Garrett. We all survived and we are back to being busy.

Keeping Busy!
I have found that it is easier to keep the kids busy, rather than fighting them to let mommy rest for 5 minutes. So I say, forget the resting because it will never happen, and lets get the fun on. Today we went to the grocery store, put up the new kiddy pool, played on the swing set, broke out the water guns, broke out the play-doe, made smores after dinner on the BBQ and jumped in the pool one last time before bath, books, pre-bed wrestling, and bed. I am bushed. I will want to rest tomorrow, but I know the kids will be up for doing it all again. Yah! I guess Garrett was right. We will all rest when we die. I can wait, I'm having too much fun!
Family Gathering!
We had to take Austin's squirt gun away because he kept squirting everyone.
I got a picture of Evan smiling.
If looks could kill, Payton's got it!
Blonds, or not blonds? Uncle Hooty and Uncle Danny!

Blonds, or not blonds? Uncle Hooty and Uncle Danny!
Our family got together on Friday for some good swinnin' and some good food. We had a great time and Audrea and Damon were great host. We went to this house that was out in the middle of the orchards in Live Oak. It felt like we were out in the middle of nowhere which was the best feeling. It was like taking a step away from all the worries and real life drama and stepping into some good times. There was a big lawn for some golfers to enjoy, a big swimming pool, which the kids loved, and some motorcycles, which the kids also loved. We had a blast. I didn't get too many good pictures because whenever something good happened my camera was nowhere to be found. We should do these kinds of things more often.

The First Day of Summer Vacation!
Today was my first true day of summer vacation. It was a good day. We stayed home for once and played, and played, and played. We broke out the bounce house and the sprinkler and had a picnic on the porch. Gracie, Abby, and Jolene came over to join in the fun. Nolan is the master of the hose. He so graciously sprayed the leavings of our picnic. No left overs. Austin loves playing baseball, even in his undees, and Avery loves the swings. (Which I did not get a picture of. Sorry Avery.) Gracie had fun jumping, running through the sprinkler, and playing with toys. Here's to another day gone, full of good times and good memories. May we always treasure them! P.S. Check out Austin peeking from behind Avery in the top left picture. Silly! :)

Nolan Can Pedal!
Nolan is now officially a bike rider. He can pedal a tricycle. He sits in front of me and goes in circles which is nice. One less child to keep track of. Avery and Austin will disappear down the street stopping to visit neighbors. The other picture is Nolan's war wounds. He thinks it's funny to steal the girls' toys at daycare and run for his life. Lets just say both girls (McKenna and Gabby) got him in the same week. I say he deserved it.
Our First Dance Recital!
Avery and Austin just had their first dance recital and these are the first pictures I have taken of them in their dance outfits. What a bad mom I am. The both have been in dance for a few months. Avery in Princess Ballet and Austin in Hip Hop. They had fun and they got to dance on a big stage for their recital. Avery was asked to dance with the age group right above hers and Austin is going to move on to something a little more competitive. Look for the videos!

Weekend Fun!
Sorry, no pictures for the weekend. Not in the mood to take some, but I just wanted to put it in writing that we had a fun and busy weekend. Friday night, was my birthday, so we went to Grammy's and swam. Then, we went to dinner at the Boss. I was so wanting a good hamburger for so long. Finally. It was a great birthday present! Thanks Dad and Mom! So we hung out at Grammy's and got home late.
Saturday, we went to the Lindke's to hang out just for the fun of it. We all had a blast. Just to be able to sit and talk with adults is fun for me. We had a great dinner with good hotdogs and good macaronie salad. Thanks Jenny and Daryl. The kids had a blast playing with Elizabeth and Tanner. Too bad the night ended with Tanner going to the hospital with a broken wrist. Now everything is, "Be careful, or you will end up at the hospital like Tanner." Anyways, the kids were dying to get together again, as well as the parents. Oh, and Saturday night, we got home late.
Sunday night we went to the Brewers and played Wii and ladder golf. I sucked at ladder golf. Sorry Garrett. The food was great and the kids again had a great time playing with their friends. And again, we got home late. The kids have never slept in so long. Record, 9:00 a.m. This morning was not pleasant as we all had to get up early.

"The Great Bambino"
I have to put this in here. It was a couple of weeks ago that I thought I would introduce the kids to a new movie. We have been watching a lot of the same movies over and over and I refuse to pay $20 or more on a new movie. So we had "Sandlot" sitting in our cupboard. So I figured what the heck. We'll watch it and I will explain what is going on to them the first time and see if they like it. (They always have to have the movie narrated to them the first time.) Little did I know they would fall in love with "The Sandlot". I swear they have watched this movie 100 times. Avery knows every word, which hasn't been such a good thing. The other day we were sitting in the living room and she yells out, "Oh crap!" Garrett and I were like, what the heck. She said, "I was just saying what they say on the "Beast movie." That's what they call it, "The Beast Movie." It is so cute though. She can recite almost perfectly the part about the smores. Even Nolan loves the "Beast Movie". Last night I was cooking dinner and Nolan is looking at a cracker box yelling, "The Great Bambino, The Great Bambino." I was thinking, what the heck is he yelling about. Then Austin gets up there and they're both yelling. Well, the picture that you see up top was on the back of the cracker box. Austin just cracks up when he watches the movie. He loves the part when they are trying to get the ball back and the Beast keeps breaking their sticks and contraptions. He has the cutest little laugh. Well, like mother like children. Sandlot is one of my favorite movies too. My favorite part, "Plaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy Baaaaaaaallllll!" The kids love that part too. LOL We rewind it just hear that part over and over!

9 MORE DAYS!!
Yes, that's 9 more days of work until summer vacation! I can't wait. 9 more days of snotty high school kids. 9 more days disciplining. 9 more days of getting up at 5 in the morning. 9 more days of grading. 9 more days of asking kids to be quiet and sit down. I CAN'T WAIT. 9 more days until I get to spend full days with my kids without having to worry about getting the house clean and shopping done. 9 more days intil we can stay in our jammies and watch morning cartoons. 9 more days until we can spend the day in grammy's pool. In 9 more days, the fun begins. I CAN'T WAIT.
Tomorrow is my birthday and I'm kind of bummed because Garrett is going to be gone all day for a track meet. Sucky. My dad said he would take me out to dinner though. It works out good that we have a three day weekend. Still time to celebrate. Things have been good and busy at the Weagant house with dance, work, school events, softball, and birthday parties. I have never been to so many birthday parties. The kids love it though and I'm glad that they have so many friends.

Wild Weekend
Two weekends ago we thought we would get crazy and take a very short, last minute trip to Disneyland. So we dropped everything and left Friday night for a long drive. All I can say is, thank goodness for Mountain Dew. Garrett drove about 45 minutes and I drove the rest. We got there at about 5:30am, ate breakfast, parked, and took pictures while we waited to get in the park at 8:00. It was so nice. Hardly anyone was there in the morning and we were able to ride anything we wanted without waiting in a long annoying line. The afternoon got a little busy, but not too bad. Then by evening I was done. The plan was to make it through fireworks. No deal. Mom needed to crash. Thank you Maggie and Darren for taking us in last minute. We love you guys. So we went to Maggie's and crashed on her couches and air bed. Sunday moring about 10:00am, we left for home and made it home at about 6:30. What a wild trip. It was so fun just to drop everything and go. Made me feel wild and crazy. The kids did so good. It's so much fun to see them having so much fun. We can't wait to go again. We will never get sick of Disneyland. It's keeping away from there that's the problem.

Let's Go Fly a Kite!
Sunday, we were bored and looking for something to do. Garrett has been great about coming up with fun things to do. So his bright idea on Sunday was to take the kids down to the park and fly their kites that Grami got them for Easter. We had a blast. It was breezy, but not a constant wind, so when the wind would die down we told Austin and Avery to run to keep the kite up. They thought it was the greatest thing. Lets just say, they acted like pros. Avery was telling Austin when to run and Austin was showing off with his professional holds on the string and laying down and the grass and flying his kite. Nolan, the poor guy, is not quite big enough to keep up with his big brother and sis, as much as he wants to. It's such a battle. Because he can't do the same things he gets upset. Then of course we have two of everything and not three. He gets his fair share though, and definately holds his own. All the running that day wore the kids out. They slept great.
Monday after work, it was really windy outside and the kids were begging to fly thier kites again. So we stopped at the park. It was so windy, I was kind of worried that the kids would lose their kite, or worse, burn their hands on the string. So I thought I would try it first. It was scarey. I was scared. Avery was crying that her kite was going to fly away and Austin was telling me how to hold the string and begging me to let him have a turn. Well, I wound the string up as fast as I could and we left. It was so funny because all the way home from the park (three blocks) the kids were talking about the big wind. When we pulled in the drive way Austin asked if the wind could blow our house away. I just had to laugh. The kids really used to be afraid of the wind and things blowing away. They would cry when anything was blown by the wind. Thankfully they are over it and I can finally hang my chimes. Isn't it funny how kids think. They make me laugh every day.

HAPPY EASTER!
We had a great spring break and Easter. I was sad when I had to go back to work. I had a great time spending time with my husband and kids. I can't wait until summer! Garrett and I got away to Reno for a couple of nights only to come home losers. It was still great to spend some time together and do whatever we wanted. I never enjoyed just laying around so much. We were so glad to come home and enjoy the kids after recharging our bateries. We colored Easter eggs with the Burnetts and had a fun day playing. We got to spend some time with Aunt Velma in Red Bluff. She had the courage to break out the egg coloring at her house. Nolan only managed to color one of her dining room chairs orange. Sorry aunt Velma :). We got to spend time with our parents and eat lots of food and candy. I feel so blessed to have such wonderful children and such a wonderful husband. I love to spend time with them. We love to play, read books, cuddle, watch movies, play games, and just dance around and be silly. I love to see my kids smile and laugh. The best part is knowing that they are happy!! I love being a mom and wouldn't change it for the world. I thank God every day for my little angels!

Keeping Busy
I have found that in keeping the kids busy, it keeps me sane. The kids find anything fun and amusing. It could be helping with dinner, planting seeds, changing their clothes, blowing bubbles, or rolling their hair in curlers. So here are just a few things the Weagant's have been up to lately. The weather is up and down and we never know when we are going to get to spend some time outside. Being in the house is getting old and the kids are just not tired enough when we put them to bed. I can't wait until summer!
Here we are in the backyard blowing bubbles. It was windy on this day and the bubbles were blowing all over the yard. It was cool to watch.
Mommy's little helpers making enchiladas, the kids favorite dinner. Notice Nolan in the princess dress. Something that we don't do very often, but we give in sometimes because he likes to twirl around. We have successfully convinced Austin that he is too manly to wear a dress-up dress.
This was our evening activity the other night. The bucking bronco. The kids had so much fun getting on Dad and having him knock them off again and again. Quite entertaining.
My little girlie girl loves to have her hair curly, so she convinced me to put Grandma's old curlers in her hair. I did the best I could. Being such a tom boy, I don't know much about these things. Her hair turned out o.k. I told her we could try again much later.
